Early 20th Century Mahogany Wardrobe With Chinoisere Laquered Relief Panels
Early 20th Century Mahogany wardrobe, having chinoiserie lacquered relief panels and carved Greek key band to the mirror door, all resting on two base drawers, furnished with decorative metal handles and terminating on short tapering legs with spade feet.
This is an absolutely beautiful wardrobe, affording good storage. Internally, the wardrobe has a full length rail fitted.
The wardrobe is very elegant with the chinoisrie detailed panels which flank the central mirrored door.
There has been minor repairs to the cornice corners on the top of the wardrobe, and there is also a slither of wood missing from the top right hand side of the wardrobe as seen in the photographs. There is also evidence of minimal historic worm which has been treated and is inactive.
Despite these couple of little issues, this remains a beautiful wardrobe that will be here for generations to come.
