This exquisite Victorian mahogany-framed sofa is a true testament to the craftsmanship and elegance of the era. 
Featuring a beautifully moulded serpentine frame that gracefully encloses a button-back rest, it is enhanced with applied stud detailing, which adds a refined touch of sophistication. 
The padded outswept arms are elegantly designed, culminating in intricately carved scroll terminals that offer an additional layer of intricate beauty. Beneath this, the serpentine sprung seat provides both comfort and support, ensuring a cozy seating experience.
The sofa rests upon French cabriole forelegs, known for their graceful curves, while the plain back-swept rear legs complement the overall design with understated elegance. Upholstered in a soft light champagne/gold fabric, the material remains in excellent condition, with no significant wear or damage. There are a couple of small Marks to the fabric that could be eliminated with a warm cloth. It’s a truly beautiful and timeless piece that showcases the grandeur of antique furniture.
Although a couple of studs are missing from the left front-hand side, this is a minor detail that can be easily replaced, and it in no way detracts from the overall charm and quality of the piece.
